Description
Pellon® 551 Sol-U-Film® is a water-soluble embroidery stabilizer designed to provide temporary support during stitching while allowing fabric to retain its natural hand and feel. Its translucent construction makes it easy to position designs accurately while providing dependable stabilization.
Ideal for machine embroidery, appliqué, cutwork, monogramming, and decorative stitching. Sol-U-Film® is especially useful with specialty fabrics such as diamond piqué, sportswear, and netting. It can also be placed on top of napped fabrics like velvet and terrycloth to help prevent stitches from sinking into the surface.
Once stitching is complete, the stabilizer dissolves quickly and easily in water, leaving behind clean, well-defined embroidery without permanent stabilizer.
